Stand in Front of a Plain White Wall

The background must be plain white or off-white. No patterns, doors, or textured curtains. Stand 1–2 feet away from the wall to eliminate shadows behind your head.

Maintain Neutral Facial Expression

Look directly into the camera lens with mouth closed, eyes open, and hair tucked behind ears. Do not tilt your head or smile with teeth showing.

No Uniforms or Colored Glasses

Wear everyday dark clothing that contrasts cleanly against the white background. Avoid white shirts that blend into the wall. Remove tinted glasses and sunglasses.
